The Institute for the Financial Management and Infrastructures of Justice (IGFEJ)., is a public institute, endowed with administrative and financial autonomy and its own assets, which pursues the attributions of the Ministry of Justice, under its supervision and tutelage.
Created in 2012, it integrates the indirect administration of the State and has jurisdiction over the entire national territory. It is central to the Ministry of Justice, providing services that are fundamental to the proper running of the judicial system. IGFEJ acts in various areas of the Ministry of Justice. These include budgetary and financial matters, justice assets and infrastructural construction works, technological infrastructures, and information systems.
The Institute has the following responsibilities:
• Financial and budgetary management of the Ministry of Justice;
• Monitoring of procedural costs and judicial support;
• Ensuring the management and maintenance of the asset of the Ministry of Justice;
• Management, stimulation and development of information systems and strengthening of judicial technological infrastructures.
